About PEEKMEEK

Whole spices. Nothing broken, nothing blended.

Who we are

We started Peekmeek because of something simple: most masala in the market is blended, and nobody buying it really knows what went into it, what quality the spices were, or how long it's been sitting on a shelf. It's a blind purchase for something people eat every single day.

As people become more careful about their health, we think the answer is whole spice — let people grind and blend it themselves, in their own kitchen, so they know exactly what's going into their food.

We're a new company, still building the sourcing relationships that will let us do this properly at scale.

How we work

Sourced from Khari Baoli — one of India's oldest, most trusted spice markets.
Checked by hand — every batch personally inspected before it's packed.
Sealed pouch — locks in aroma and oil until you open it.
Ground by you — fresh, in your kitchen, exactly when you need it.
Raveesh Kumar

Founder & CEO

Peekmeek is run by its founder, Raveesh Kumar, who has spent years building businesses from the ground up — some that worked, many that didn't, and every one of them taught him something about starting things properly rather than quickly. Peekmeek came from a different place than a business plan or a market gap on a spreadsheet. It came from something he kept noticing in everyday life: people filling their kitchens with blended masala, with no real way of knowing what was actually in it, how it had been made, or how long it had already been sitting somewhere before it reached their shelf. For something that goes into food eaten every single day, that felt like a problem worth solving.

Peekmeek is his answer to that problem. Rather than sell another blend, the idea was to go back to basics — whole spice, sourced honestly, straight from Khari Baoli, one of India's oldest and most trusted spice markets. Every batch is checked by hand before it's sealed into a pouch, because a shortcut skipped early is a shortcut a customer eventually pays for. Nothing leaves until it's something Raveesh would be comfortable using in his own kitchen.

It's still early days for Peekmeek — there's no big factory behind it, no long company history to point to, and no pretending otherwise. What there is instead is a founder who's learned, the hard way, what it takes to build something properly, and who's applying that patience here: one batch, one customer, one honest pouch of spice at a time.
